Welcome to Nightmagic

May, 2024

OUR WEBSITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

I finally moved and have access to my computer again. Over the next few weeks I'll be updating the website.

Please bare with me, and if you have any questions about any of our upcoming kittens or soon to be retiring adults, feel free to message me for more information.

I was introduced to the world of showing and raising cats at a very young age. My mother raised cats well before I was born, and thus my life has always included cats in breeding, show, rescue, you name it. I worked with her and her cattery growing up until I eventually decided to start a name for myself in the Cat Fancy world.

Nightmagic Cattery was founded in 2005. We started our cattery with the ever so lovely Somali breed. Shortly after I went to college to become a Licensed Vet Tech and go for my BA in Veterinary Management. I was asked if I could pick any other breed what would I have gone with. My mother at the time bred Abyssinians, so Somalis was just an easy choice starting out. I never really thought about getting a different breed until then but I instantly remembered this little Devon kitten from a show when I was around 7. It was the only Devon I ever met, but for some reason I remembered that kitten out of alllll the kittens and different cat breeds I had been exposed to during my life. And so in 2009, I acquired my first Devon Rex from Katzisland Cattery. I am very thankful for the opportunity given to me by Katzisland and all the other lovely breeders I have worked with along the way that allowed me to continue my journey in the Devon world.

We have officially relocated to Central Alberta, Canada.

As proud members of TICA and CFA, we uphold the highest standards in the quality of our cats and kittens and place them exclusively in only the best homes. Our cattery is tested FIV/Felv free.

Our cats are raised in a home setting with a very patient Doberman and a couple rambunctious Brussles Griffons. Our devons are our pets first and foremost. Yes, our Devons are bed hoggers.
